the Solkan stone bridge, Slovenia, the world's second longest

The Solkan Bridge, called locally the Solkanski most (in Italian Ponte di Salcano, in German Salcanobrücke), is a 220-metre (720 ft) arch bridge over the Soča River near Nova Gorica in western Slovenia close to Italy. With an arch span of 85 metres (279 ft), it is the second-longest stone bridge in the world and the longest railway stone bridge. It was officially opened in 1906
